Welcome

Welcome to the Geography Education Research Group (GeogEd)

We are a research group of the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers).

What we do

GeogEd form the main forum for the discussion of issues and advancement concerning geographical education.

We organise and host talks, workshops, seminars and training workshops of current good practice and emerging areas of Geography pedagogy

We promote and support teaching and learning in geography within both Higher Education and more broadly

We support colleagues and aspiring geographic instructors in their journey as educators through sharing material, practice, and further training advice and support.
