In May 2026, the Geography Education Research Group introduced working groups to better focus and coordinate our activities.
The working groups and their respective pages are:
- AI in geography education
- Assessment and feedback in geography education
- Digital pedagogies
- Employability and work-integrated learning in geography education
- Embedding civic engagement/positive action within geography education
- Leadership in geography education
- Pedagogical approaches in geography education
- Visibility of geography as a subject/how will geography look in the future?
Each group met to define its aims and planned activities, with outcomes shared at the Celebration of teaching and learning in Geography Higher Education on 6th July 2026.
