GeogEd committee position (Ordinary Member)

The GeogEd committee has one role (Ordinary Member) available for 2026-2029.   Ordinary Members support the work of the GeogEd committee and the wider Research Group activities. For example, an Ordinary Member might provide help to organise the GeogEd sponsored sessions as part of the RGS-IBG annual international conference, or may support the research group’s social media activity.

Please consider nominating yourself for this position (this requires a 150 word maximum supporting statement).  The information you submit on the nomination form will be shared with the GeogEd membership as part of the GeogEd committee elections 2026. Voting will occur via an online form which will be shared via this email list.  Voting will take place from Monday 17th August – 5pm (1700 BST) Thursday 10th September 2026. The new committee member will be announced at the GeogEd AGM.
