Expression of interest: GeogEd Scholarship of Teaching and Learning working groups.

Are you interested in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Geography Education? Are you finding it difficult to find like-minded people who are working on scholarship projects? Are you wanting to collaborate with people outside your organisation on scholarship projects? Or would you like a space where you can discuss scholarship project ideas and challenges? If so, you may be interested in a new GeogEd initiative:  GeogEd Scholarship of Teaching and Learning working groups

The aim of the working groups is to help facilitate collaborations across institutions and connect like-minded people who are working/would like to work on scholarship of teaching and learning in Geography education (or allied subjects). Different working groups will focus on different aspects of Geography teaching and learning e.g., AI, Assessment and Feedback, or work-integrated learning in Geography Education (as examples) with an aim to help the community to come together to discuss and collaborate on shared interests. We will need someone to lead or co-ordinate each group so this also creates an opportunity for those looking for a scholarship of teaching and learning leadership role.

If you are interested in being a part of a scholarship of teaching and learning working group then please complete this form.  Form submission deadline – 1st May. You’ll be able to join a group after this date but this helps us with the initial set up. If you have any questions, please contact Liz Hurrell, GeogEd Education Officer.
